SB 1001 -- SHERIFFS' RETIREMENT FUND

This bill requires any county that has elected or elects in the
future to join the Sheriffs' Retirement Fund to participate in
the funding of the system.  The system is funded by the
assessment and collection of $3 for each civil and criminal court
case filed.  The City of St. Louis, St. Louis County, and Jackson
County currently do not belong to the fund.
